Mesydel

Responding to the growing need for participatory methods and project management tools, Prophylia's first product, Mesydel, implements the mediation method known as the "Delphi Method". This prospective method produces a list of stances – sometimes a consensus – by questioning various experts of a given domain, in a multi-round process. Between each round, a mediator writes a synthesis, then launches a new round, with questions inspired from this synthesis. At the end of the process, a report is written, giving insight about the various stances.
In a classic process, these questions are send by street mail, fax or e-mail. The answers come back through the same channels. Quickly, the mediator is flooded with answers from various sources. It takes a lot of time to organize them. Moreover, it is hard for him to have an easy access to related answers, this makes the analysis process even more awkward – for a sub-optimal end-result. The experts are also under these constraints for that they have to fill in boring forms within a given time limit. The result is a relatively low participation rate.
Mesydel is the cure for these weaknesses.
